Future's historic winning streak isn't coming to an end any time soon. About a month after the chart-topping DS2, producer Zaytoven has announced that he and Future are back in the studio working on Beast Mode 2, the sequel to their beloved joint mixtape from January. The #FutureHive is having an awesome year with its dreams answered.
It's been an all-hits and no misses 2015 for the Freebandz president. Before putting out the most successful album of his career, Future released two highly -acclaimed mixtapes, Beast Mode and 56 Nights. Moreover, that's not even counting the Metro Boomin-produced produced Monster, released at the end of last October. Even so, he's not done yet, as Beast Mode 2 is on the way.
Entirely produced by Zaytoven, the 9-track Beast Mode was more melodic, thanks to Zay's signature keys, and featured more ruminative rapping from Future -- in contrast to the reckless, drug-fueled turn-up anthems that have defined much of his recent output. "Real Sisters," the biggest club record off Beast Mode, ended up landing on the bonus edition of DS2. Zaytoven also gave one more beat to DS2 with "Colossal." Watch the heist video to "Real Sisters" here.
Zaytoven shared the news today on his Instagram, posting a fan of himself and Future and telling fans, "#webackcooking."
Keep in mind, Future also has a joint mixtape with Mike Will Made-It, Ape Sh!t, in the works. While he's at it, he might as well hook up with Metro Boomin for a second installment of Monster.
Zaytoven continues to be one of the most prolific producers in the world. Along with Beast Mode, he's produced joint tapes with OG Maco and Young Dro, and he got a few beats on each of the recent albums from Migos and Chief Keef. His only upcoming project that has the chance of matching the hype of Beast Mode 2 is a hopeful collaboration with Andre 3000. Hopefully, we can trust Zay's Instagram.
