OMI: Can't Feel My Face
"Cheerleader" is back to the No. 1 spot for a fifth nonconsecutive week, according to Billboard. Though OMI holds only the Nos. 2 spots on Radio Songs and streaming, his overall chart points were enough to push "Can't Feel My Face" from the top spot.
After a bump from the release of its fiery music video and a huge sales increase, The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" slips back down to its old home at No. 2 this week. Despite gaining at radio, the lead single from The Weeknd's new album Beauty Behind the Madness couldn't feel its way back to the top spot.
However, that doesn't mean all is lost for The Weeknd on the charts - his other track from BBTM, "The Hills," saw a massive jump this week, climbing up six spots to No. 5 this week. Thanks to a strong debut on the Radio Songs chart, The Weeknd now boasts the first concurrent top singles for a male artist since B.o.B.'s "Airplanes" and "Nothin' On You" in 2010.
Between The Weeknd hits, Silento's viral smash "Watch Me" climbs back up to its No. 3 peak and Major Lazer's "Lean On" continues its slow climb to the top of the charts, rising one position to a new high at No. 4. Major Lazer isn't the only act to experience a slow climb on the charts; Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" similarly gained one spot, landing at No. 6 this week.
That is in direct contrast to the No. 7 song, which goes to a debut: Lana Del Rey's "High by the Beach." Del Rey's latest top 10 single was supported largely by downloads as the single lands at the top spot on the singles chart with 248,000 copies sold. The lead single from Honeymoon was also aided by its vengeful music video, which gathered enough streams to land Del Rey 2.4 million clicks.
The bottom of the top 10 is filled with familiar favorites. Fetty Wap's singles "Trap Queen" and "My Way" rise one spot each at Nos. 8 and 9 (respectively). Taylor Swift's former No. 1 hit "Bad Blood" rounds things out at No. 10.
