The Weeknd Debuts Kanye-Produced 'Tell Your Friends,' Hints at Travi$ Scott Collaboration

We're 9 days away from the highly anticipated release of The Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness, his second studio album, and last night, the "Can't Feel My Face" singer shared a previously unheard gem off the upcoming release, "Tell Your Friends," which is produced by Kanye West. He debuted the song in Vegas, where he was a surprise guest at a Travi$ Scott show. Scott's Rodeo arrives on September 4, and his joint performance with The Weeknd may hint that a collaboration that will appear on his upcoming album.

In July, Ed Sheeran told Zane Lowe that Kanye West would be the lone feature on The Weeknd's upcoming album; though he also said he and The Weeknd had recorded together in Toronto. Well, a few BBTM tracklists have dropped this month, and the latest (confirmed by The Weeknd) shows, not one, but three features -- all British vocalists: Lana Del Ray, Labrinth and, ironically, Ed Sheeran. It seemed while the Ed Sheeran collaboration ("Dark Times") did end up making it onto the album, the Kanye West collab did not.

Now, after seeing "Tell Your Friends," West is indeed on the album, though as a producer and not a rapper. The Weeknd debuted the new track (track #3 on BBTM) last night when he crashed Travi$ Scott's show. Scott first shared a clip of the Kanye-produced song on Instagram, but since, a full live recording has surfaced. Listen below.

Beauty Behind the Madness will likely be one of the year's top-selling albums, as everything The Weeknd has recently put out has stormed to the top of the charts. Three of the albums singles, "Can't Feel My Face," "The Hills" and "Earned It" have all made it to the top 5 -- where the former two still remain. After the album's release, it seems that's where "Tell Your Friends" will be heading, too.

Travi$ Scott also posted an Instagram of him and The Weeknd together on stage with the caption "Pray 4 Love." The Weeknd soon tweeted at Scott, "We Don't Pray for Love," strongly suggesting a collaboration that will appear on Rodeo, perhaps titled "Pray 4 Love."

The Weeknd unveiled the "Tell Your Friends" collaboration a day after he was photographed in Kanye's Yeezy Season 1 Adidas gear for GQ magazine.
