From the release of her first single "Pon De Replay" to her latest "B*tch Better Have My Money" Rihanna has always received a lot of attention in the music industry, mostly positive aside from her very public beat-down and subsequent break-up with Chris Brown. As she celebrates her 10th year in the music industry, she teased fans with just how she will celebrate, and it may include that new album.
Billboard reported that Rihanna stayed loyal to her true fans by launching her new fragrance entitled "RiRi" (Aug. 31) at Macy's in downtown Brooklyn and dropped hints about how she plans to celebrate saying "You'll have to wait."
Does this mean that her new album R8 is finally on the way? In an interview with the Associated Press, Rihanna admitted, "New album is going really, really great. We have recorded and finished a lot of songs and I can't wait to finish and put it out. That's my next step."
Despite this news, the follow-up to her 2012 LP Unapologetic remains shrouded in mystery. The record has already produced three singles, "FourFiveSeconds," "American Oxygen" and "B*tch Better Have My Money," but fans are still waiting in anticipation to hear the rest.
RiRi dropped just the slightest hint when she said, "There are a few things I have in mind, so you'll have to wait on that, but don't think I'm forgetting because this means a lot to me that I made it to 10 years."
