New details have finally come to shore about the loudest cruise to take place this summer, Motorhead's Motorboat. After initially announcing its takeover of the high seas last month, Motorhead have finally revealed the first round of artists to play Motorboat as well as the exact cruise line, ship and sail dates.
According to Consequence Of Sound, Megadeth, Anthrax and former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde will headline the Motorboat Cruise alongside, of course, Motorhead itself.
Comedian Jim Breuer, Canadian rock band Danko Jones, heavy metal band Fireball Ministry and "five dudes in a van" Wilson are also slated to perform, amongst other acts who have yet to be announced.
In addition to live concerts, the bands will be taking part in meet & greets with passengers, Q&A sessions, "wet and wild parties," "crazy theme nights" and more, according to the event's Facebook page.
Of course, this hard partying, hard rocking cruise needs a ship to take place on, and that will come courtesy of the Carnival Ecstasy.
(Though notably different, Motorhead and co. won't be the only live acts to set sail on a Carnival ship in 2014. Jennifer Hudson, Styx, Daughtry, Olivia Newton John and more will all be taking part in the Carnival Live series this year.)
Motorhead's Motorboat Cruise will take place from Sept. 22 to Sept. 26.
Ticket information and full vacation details will be made available on Tuesday, March 18 when motorheadcruise.com goes live.
