Jason Derulo's 'Want To Want Me' is Biggest-Selling Song of Summer 2015

The Official Charts Company has compiled their biggest Songs of Summer 2015, dating from June 1 to August 31. Jason Derulo's "Want To Want Me" has been named the biggest-selling song of the summer, topping countless summer anthems from Justin Bieber to OMI.

Derulo's track dropped in June, becoming the singer's fourth No.1 hit. Reeling in total sales figures of 391,000, the track quickly found its way to becoming to most popular summer hit. "When I made this song I knew it was special, but these type of accolades reinforce that and keep me hungry for more great moments to come," Derulo told the Official Charts Company. Even Luke Bryan had to get in on the action, sparking a viral Internet duet between the two singers.

Trailing "Want To Want Me," Belgian DJ Los Frequencies' "Are You With Me" stole the number two spot with sales of 348,000, NME notes. Felix Jaehn's remix of OMI's "Cheerleader" sits at number three with sales of 295,000 just before Tinie Tempah and Jess Glynne's 277,000 sales of "Not Letting Go" and Walk The Moon's "Shut Up And Dance" with 266,000 sales.

OCC also shared the summer's most streamed song during the summer was Major Lazer's "Lean On" featuring MO and DJ Snake with 25.6 million plays. OMI's "Cheerleader" topped out at 25.1 million plays ahead of Derulo's 22 million streams while the three-way collaboration between Justin Bieber, Skrillex and Diplo -- "Where Are U Now" -- racked in 20.2 million just ahead of Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" with 19.3 million.
