If there's one thing people love to discuss about Kylie Jenner, it's her lips. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been a major topic of controversy and conversation when it comes to her ever-changing appearance, and now the 18-year-old continues to open up. In a new interview with The New York Times, Jenner opened up about plastic surgery and makeup to help boost her confidence.
"I like lip liners over lipsticks," Jenner said to the New York Times about her love for lip products. "I have so many of them from so many different brands, so I just pick the color that works. I'm in the middle of creating my own lip kit, and I'm doing my three favorite colors: nude, a sepia color and a true brown. I'm super quick at this now. I could do this in 10 minutes."
Jenner remained completely honest throughout the interview, revealing who her new cosmetic surgeon is as well as how to keep up with lip fillers to make sure you get the best wear for your money. She admitted her previous doctor did not fully understand how to keep her lips looking semi-natural, instead she came out looking "crazy." Now she stands by a certain Beverly Hills doctor to handle her precious money makers.
"I still do Juvéderm for my lips. I go to Dr. Ourian in Beverly Hills. He's the best. I was going to somebody before, and it was just looking crazy," she said. "I would recommend that anyone who gets it done go for a filler that lasts only two to four months. It's annoying to keep going back, but you have the option of stopping it."
One of the most searched terms on Google is "Kylie Jenner lips." The media and fans alike noticed a difference in the young reality celebrity when her lips began to grow plumper overnight long before she admitted to the fillers, and questions quickly began to circulate as to why and how she obtained them at such a young age.
Due to her social media presence and strong fan base, girls and boys were eager to try and imitate her look, ultimately sparking the contentious "Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge." The challenge caused some deformities and scarring after fans of the youngest Jenner used water bottles, medicine bottles, and anything else they could draw suction from to make their lips bigger. Before finally admitting to getting fillers in May 2015 on an episode of KUWTK, she swore lip liners were the secret key to her plumped-lip obsession and denied all cosmetic surgery allegations.
