It may be hard to believe, but CMJ 2015 is right around the corner. Set to take over New York City from Oct. 13 to 17, today (Sept. 9), the annual festival announced its big round of live acts. This year, major players at CMJ include Tobias Jesso Jr., Titus Andronicus, BORNS, Catfish and the Bottleman, The Wonder Years, Panda Bear and more.
CMJ announced its 300+ performer strong lineup on its official website. Led by the previously mentioned artists as well as The Joy Formidable, Neon Indian, Ex Hex, Perfect Pussy, Motion City Soundtrack and more, the 35th year of CMJ promises to be just as diverse as any other.
Other acts on the expansive bill include: JPNSGRLS, Surf Rock Is Dead, Eternal Summers, Hockey Dad, Shannon and the Clams, The Henry Millers, Death by Unga Bunga, The Men, Frankie Cosmos, Kamasi Washington, Potty Mouth and Car Seat Headrest, just to name a few.
The full lineup has yet to be announced as well as what artists will play what days and at what venues. However, check out the full, massive list of CMJ acts on the festival's official website.
The 2015 edition of CMJ marks the 35th year for the massive festival, which takes over dozens of venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn every October. Last year's lineup included the likes of Gerard Way, San Fermin, BORNS, Little May, Ages and Ages and more.
