After pushing the release date of his new album back twice this year, fans of Ty Dolla $ign can finally look forward to the release of Free TC. On Thursday (Sept. 10), the "Paranoid" singer announced the album's arrival and shared a collaboration with Fetty Wap.
Dolla $ign tweeted that Free TC will be released on Nov. 13 with an iTunes pre-order coming soon. The album's cover shows Dolla $ign sitting behind a glass wall, presumably during a jail visit. He has "Free TC" tattooed across his knuckles.
In addition to the pre-order, Dolla $ign put out a new single with Fetty Wap titled "When I See Ya." The track was shared on SoundCloud. As noted by Complex, the album will also feature guest spots by Future, Rae Sremmurd, Joe Moses and more.
As previously reported, Free TC is tentatively named for the Taylor Gang artist's younger brother who is currently serving a life sentence in prison for a murder both brothers insist he did not commit.
"It's for a purpose," he said. "He's locked up for something that he didn't do. It's many people out here that get injustice, as you've seen Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, everything that's happening on the news right now. It has a purpose. It's gonna be the biggest album of 2015."
The project was first slated to drop in March or April. It was then pushed back until June.
Since announcing Free TC, Dolla $ign has kept himself quite busy. Earlier this year, he released a joint EP with Wiz Khalifa titled Talk About It in the Morning. The project featured the single "Post Up," along with a guest spot by The BMMB. The two plan to release a movie, which shares the same name as the previously released EP. A trailer for the project was released on Monday (Sept. 7).
He also released "Blasé" featuring Future and Rae Sremmurd earlier this summer.
