Chris Brown has left rehab once again, but not for the sweet, sweet world of freedom. According to new news reports, the 24-year-old singer has been taken to jail.
Yesterday (March 14), CNN reported that Brown was removed from his court-ordered stint at a Malibu rehabilitation center and instead taken into custody by the LA County Sheriff. The reason for Brown's removal from rehab and subsequent arrest has not been revealed.
However, it is believed that he'll spend the entire next month in jail.
Though Brown officially left rehab last month and was reportedly doing well with an official psychiatric diagnosis of PTSD and Bipolar Disorder, he was ordered to return to the treatment center once again until a new court date of April 23 in regards to his 2009 assault case against then-girlfriend Rihanna.
He was initially put on probation in the case but broke the terms of the agreement by faking his public service records. He was only staying out of jail by being in rehab, hence why he went directly from one institution to another.s
Chris Brown's list of troubles with the law and rehab facilities is quite long, and this is the second time he's been booted from treatment. In October, he was removed from his first rehab center for throwing a rock through his mother's window after a family visit.
Despite these legal troubles, Brown's new album X is still set to drop this May.
