Tyler, The Creator arrested at SXSW for inciting riot

Tyler, The Creator? More like Tyler, The Riot Inducer. Today (March 15), the Odd Future frontman was arrested at the SXSW music festival in Austin after he encouraged people to bust in to a club that was already at capacity.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler, The Creator (né Tyler Okonma) was taken into police custody in connection to a show the rapper played on Thursday night (March 13). After the 999 person capacity venue Scoot Inn was filled, Tyler, The Creator encouraged fans to make their way into the club regardless.

"Just run in right now. Do it, let's go," he reportedly said, causing fans to push through the doors of the Scoot Inn and move past employees, creating a potentially dangerous situations for both the employees of the venue and other concertgoers.

Tyler, The Creator was then arrested for the situation and charged with a Riot - Class A misdemeanor. His bond is set for $3500.

Tyler, The Creator was set to kick off his 2014 tour tonight in Dallas. No word on how his stretch of shows has been affected by his arrest, if at all.
