Damon Albarn has been performing in Austin at SXSW to promote the release of his upcoming solo debut, Everyday Robots. He's already shared a bunch of new tracks but last night he dusted off old favorites from his work as Gorillaz.
According to Consequence of Sound, he and De La Soul performed "Feel Good Inc.," then he brought out Del the Funkee Homosapien and Dan the Automator for the first-ever live performance of "Clint Eastwood."
ABC News reports that Albarn told the crowd that this performance was the first time he had ever met Del the Funkee Homosapien, despite the song having come out 13 years ago. "It's actually quite a momentous moment," he said.
Snoop Dogg also stopped by the set and layed down an extra verse for "Clint Eastwood," which Albarn described as adding "a little cayenne" to the set.
