Taking place from Oct. 25 to November 27, Red Bull Music Academy will present two of their afterparties at the Pitchfork Paris Music Festival featuring Omar S, Galcher Lustwerk, Nosaj Thing and Stwo.
The schedule will be packed with various lectures and concerts throughout the five weeks in Paris. Hudson Mohawke will present his live show, followed by a John Talabot b2b Roman Flügel set. Laurent Garnier will close out the night.
Electronic pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre will sit down for a rare lecture. Disco producer, composer and drummer Cerrone will also do a lecture as well as performing his Contrepoint live show for the first time ever.
RMBA has invited 12 local collectives, including Antinote, SNTWN, Garage MU and In Paradisum to present live performances, screenings and listening sessions at La Gaité Lyrique.
RMBA 2015 will be the first time Red Bull comes back to Europe to host its academy since 2011. 61 participants from 37 different countries have been invited to Paris to work on music together in a collaborative environment in the state-of-the-art recording facilities in La Gaité Lyrique. This is also where the lecture series will take place. There will be shows around the city at clubs like Rex Club and Badaboum.
