Stream Foster the People new album 'Supermodel' before official release

Foster The People are ready to come of age. To help curb those dirty music leakers, the indie pop band has made its second studio album Supermodel available for streaming just one day before its US release. Fans of the band can now listen to the new release on iTunes Radio.

Led by singles "Coming Of Age" and "Pseudologia Fantastica," Supermodel is the follow-up to the 2011 album Torches. Of course, that album helped launch Foster The People into the limelight with the misleadingly peppy track "Pumped Up Kicks," which eventually rose to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

But, don't expect more of the same. According to an interview with Rolling Stone (via Consequence of Sound), Foster The People frontman Mark Foster said the band was moving away from the synthesizer-heavy music of its first album to make something more "organic and human."

"I wanted to make something more human and let the songs breathe and grow and turn and take left turns and not come back if they want to," he elaborated, also citing Middle Eastern influences for the new music.

But don't take the written word for it, listen to Supermodel now on iTunes. The album is also available for pre-order now.
