It’s been kind of a messy year for the legendary hardcore punk outfit Black Flag. Its faced lawsuits and the band fired singer Ron Reyes during a show and replaced him with professional skateboarder Mike Vallely and there are all sorts of inner tensions within the group. But, regardless of all that, the show must go on. Today (March 18), it was announced that Black Flag will be going on tour this summer.
According to SPIN, Black Flag will kick off four months worth of tour dates on May 15 with Vallely in tow.
Greg Ginn, the band’s current leader and guitarist, will be opening the shows alongside his other band HOR. Cinema Cinema will also be supporting Black Flag.
Check out the full list of announced tour dates so far. Shows for July and August will be announced soon.
