Sarah Jessica Parker Sent Treadmill by Producer to Lose Weight for Role

Believe it or not, some of your favorite celebrities have been asked to lose weight and sometimes even put on some pounds, for a specific role. On Wednesday morning (Sept. 23), actress Sarah Jessica Parker revealed the unsubtle way a producer hinted for her to get in shape by sending her a treadmill. Parker opened up about her shocking gift during an interview on Sirius XM Radio Andy's My Favorite Song w/ John Benjamin Hickey.

The Sex and the City star discussed the songs she listens to the most, but one 90s tune in particular brought back memories for her. "Everybody Dance Now" by C+C Music Factory is the one hit single she can't seem to tire of hearing. Besides being a classic party song that gets people of all ages on the dance floor, Parker explained why the song holds so much meaning in her life.

"Just picture me running with a Discman," the Failure to Launch star said, to which Hickey replied, "You're in fantastic shape, is this the reason why?"

"No, but it was a very important time in my life. I was about do Honeymoon In Vegas and before that I was off to do another movie in Iowa and the producer of Honeymoon in Vegas was very concerned about me being fit for Honeymoon in Vegas. So, they sent a treadmill to Iowa."

The 50-year-old mother of three who still has the same amazing physique now as she did in the 1992 film with Nicolas Cage. She's even received a lot of praise for the iconic black bikini scene. Parker went on to describe the strenuous workout routine she put herself through months before actually filming the movie.

"But I would run to this the summer proceeding me leaving to go to Iowa and then ultimately go to Vegas and New York to shoot Honeymoon In Vegas. I would very diligently go out every single day and run like a lunatic to this song. And then when I went to Iowa, on the treadmill, I would continue to run to the song. And then we went to Vegas and I had a treadmill also in my room and I would get up every morning and run."
