CMJ 2015 dropped a motherlode of new information of badgeholders and potential buyers with the announcement of various showcases, schedules and a whole host of new artists added to the lineup. CMJ 2015 will have over 1,000 different artists performing at nearly 70 different venues across New York City from Oct. 13-17. Among those set to be the biggest draws include Panda Bear, Tobias Jesso Jr. Smallpools, Titus Andronicus, BORNS, Catfish & Bottlemen, The Wonder Years and Neon Indian.
Entering its 35th year, CMJ Music Marathon looks to boast one of its most diverse and strongest lineups to date. With the new announcement, it adds names like Quilt, Wet, Empress Of, Mayfield, Oberhofer, PC Worship and plenty more.
The 70 different venues are spread out across Manhattan and Brooklyn ranging from larger concert halls like Terminal 5 and Webster Hall, which will play host to artists like Smallpools, Phoebe Ryan, Catfish & Bottlemen, Glass Animals and others and smaller venues like Pete's Candy Store or Lit Lounge.
Also included on the packed lineup, which will be quite spread out are The Joy Formidable, Hockey Dad, Potty Mouth, Car Seat Headrest, Surf Rock Is Dead, The Henry Millers, Death by Unga Bunga and many more.
Looking through all of the various showcases can be a bit dizzying, but it will all start to come together as you decide what neighborhood you want to stay in each night and who the main artists you want to see are.
