"Type of Way" rapper Rich Homie Quan is under investigation after smoking weed around his one-year-old son in an Instagram video earlier this week. The former Rich Gang rapper took to his account to demonstrate some highly questionable parenting skills, and he received massive backlash from followers which resulted in him deleting the footage. Unfortunately for him, his poor judgement has led to a full blown investigation surrounding his parenting abilities and whether he is endangering his child with careless decision making.
On Tuesday evening, the "Break a Table" rapper caused another scandal on the heels of his controversial lyrics about raping women back in the summer leaked. The rapper has since apologized but it looks like he is facing yet another crisis after sparking up a joint around his toddler. According to reports, Child Protective Services (CPS) as well as the Fulton County Police Department has teamed up to start a full fledge investigation against him after being fearful for the well-being of his young son. TMZ reports:
"Georgia authorities saw the video of RHQ's 1-year-old on his lap as he puffed away, and they were alarmed. Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department have now teamed up to investigate. Our sources say CPS wants to sit down with Quan and ask a slew of questions ... notably, what was he smoking? They also want to know if this was a one-off or his standard operating procedure. Law enforcement tells us the probe goes beyond RHQ's fitness as a parent ... he could face possible criminal charges, including endangering a child and reckless behavior".
This is obviously not the first time Quan's character has been called into question. However, this time it could possibly lead to some severe legal ramifications for the rapper.
Quan has already taken to his social media to apologize for his actions. However, It remains to be seen if its a little too late at this point now that the investigation is under way....
