Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) viewers have watched Caitlyn Jenner's transformation play out in front of the cameras on television and she has certainly seen her fair share of supporters, and haters, for her decision to leave Bruce Jenner in the past. Although the physical change has been obvious, now a judge has approved the request to make her name and gender change legally recognized. Jenner's eldest son Burt wants the haters to know that even with a gender change and breast implants, his dad can still "whip your ass."
According to Page Six, Jenner's 37-year-old son Burt took to Instagram to remind people that his dad will always remain his dad, and the family supports him. "So obviously a lot has changed...," Burt wrote alongside a photo of Caitlyn. "But thankfully, for me, the most important stuff didn't..."
That important stuff for him involves his dad's love for cars and toys and how dad "still likes to go fast [and] still loves adrenaline." However, more importantly, Burt expressed to the haters that regardless of the gender change and legal name change, his dad is still a winner.
[My dad] will still whip your ass at... ANYTHING," he wrote in a caption on Instagram with Jenner pictured with two young girls who could be his granddaughters. "Yup all you haters, my dad will still probably whip your ass at 65 with implants."
As the caption indicates, a lot has changed for the former athlete. Page Six also reported the approval to legally change her name and gender was granted during a hearing on Friday in Santa Monica by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gerald Rosenberg. The approval now permits the I Am Cait star to obtain a driver's license, social security card and other government documents as Caitlyn Jenner.
The name change also enforces that the former Olympic Gold Medalist is now legally Caitlyn, and ex-wife Kris Jenner may just have to get comfortable referring to her as such. Us Weekly reported that the Kardashian Jenner matriarch does not refer to her ex-husband as Caitlyn; she calls him Jenner instead. The site reported that although the mother of six is supportive of the transformation, she "just can't call her Caitlyn."
"It's hard, you know, it's really, really hard," she explained in an interview with Billy Bush. "What I have realized in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a different way. No matter what it is, you know. We're all people. We all have different emotions."
