Kygo: unveiled
The music video was shot on scene in the desert oasis on Palm Springs, California with a large group of models all there low-key partying to Kygo live on a piano. Kygo occasionally joins in on the fun, smiling at a few ladies, but the fun is generally had between the many different skinny, good looking and at times tattooed individuals drinking, swimming and making out all over the place.
The official video was directed by Michael Maxxis.
"Here For You" was first premiered as an "ID" for Ultra Music Festival as part of their promotion for the event earlier this year. It was even unveiled on Spotify after enough fans wanted a chance to listen to the official version once they heard it in promo videos. Kygo was tabbed as one of the hot new acts at UMF, performing on the live stage.
It isn't surprising given Kygo's recent string of this such as "Stole The Show," "Firestone" and "Nothing Left" that he would decide to find a vocalist for this track. That combination of vocals, generally male up until this point, as his melodic, tropical rhythms has been a winning formula.
Watch the video below and you can purchase the track on iTunes. It was originally reported back when the Norwegian signed with Sony that he was working on an artist album. There has not been any news on that front since then, but at least the stream of music has not stopped all year.
