Stream St. Germain New Album In Full Before Release

It has been a long 15 years since we last heard from Ludovic Navarre, known to the world by his artist moniker, St. Germain. On the comeback trail in 2015, the French touch pioneer is blazing new paths with a new self-titled album that is slated for release in a week on Oct. 9. With the album drop just around the corner, the Tourist producer has made it available to stream in full for your healthy consumption.

Now streaming on NPR, fans can hear the full eight-track, 51 minute album in all of its glory. This is the first album from Navarre since his 2000 full-length Tourist. The producer was quite busy from 1993 to 2000, releasing a string of EPs and three albums, including Tourist and his very successful debut Boulevard, but went pretty much silent after that time.

The album is a cosmic journey into the mind and recent musical journey of Navarre. It is heavily influenced by Malian jazz music and shows the growth of Navarre outside of the jazz-electronic sphere. There are still those classic sounds that made Navarre so popular with his legion of fans, but also a clear evolution in his style as one might expect from a 15 year wait between LPs.

St. Germain will head out on tour next month with a series of European tour dates in cities like Munich, Brussels, Warsaw, Paris, Zurich, London and elsewhere. Find all of the tour dates and ticket information on his Facebook page.
