Unreleased Childish Gambino, Heems 'Tell Me' Video Surfaces

An unreleased music video for Childish Gambino's 2012 collaboration with Das Racist's Heems "Tell Me" has allegedly surfaced online. The video was not released by either artist onto their official pages and they have not commented on the video. However the production quality and the fact that both artists are prominently featured in the clip would suggest that this is official.

The video finds the two rappers enjoying life to the fullest in a hedonistic display or half naked women, booze and party favors. The pair rap into the camera as they move around between rooms in what appears to be a hotel suite as various women play Edward Scissorhands with champagne bottles. The whole thing is shot in black and white.

There are a few hints as to when this might have been shot. Gambino notes that he broke his foot and shows off his blue walking boot as evidence. Glover did break his foot in March 2012, which could be around the time that the video was shot.

"Tell Me" is taken from Heems' solo mixtape Wild Water Kingdom that was released in 2012. The pair also collaborated on "Womyn 2" from another Heem mixtape Nehru Jackets.

There are few other details about this video including its production and if this is official, why it has been gathering dust for all of this time. The leakers, "jointheorg" also write that the video was directed by Max.

Fans have been waiting for new Childish Gambino ever since he premiered a new track at Bonnaroo earlier this year. He has been quite busy with his successful acting career, which has left little time for music, but this video should help those in Gambino withdrawal.
