The TDE takeover is upon us! Last month, Schoolboy Q released his highly anticipated debut Oxymoron and the head honcho, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, says more is on the way and soon.
The CEO recently took to social media to announce that projects for Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul are "coming soon."
He sent this message out via Twitter:
"@justsza Z 4.8.14, @abdashsoul ,@jayrock and @kendricklamar coming soon be patient...#TDE #0XYMORON #CilviaDemo OUT NOW!"
Back in December, MStars reported Tiffith announced the label would be releasing albums from the entire roster this year.
He sent out this tweet:
We ran 2013 without dropping 1 album. I wonder wuts gone happen in 2014 when I drop 6. They not ready 4 this."
The label has already released two projects, Schoolboy Q's Oxymoron and Isaiah Rashad's Cilvia Demo.
Earlier this month, Tiffith hinted that Kendrick Lamar's album would be released September of this year in an interview with Billboard.
Billboard reported:
"In 2014, TDE hopes to lock and load its most ambitious slate of releases: Rashad and the label's first nonrap signing, New Jersey-based female singer-songwriter SZA, will be coming with albums, as will original team members Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. Meanwhile, Free thinks the long-awaited debut from Black Hippy - the supergroup featuring Lamar, Q, Rock and Ab-Soul - is likely to appear in 2014; Tiffith indicates that TDE is planning to release a new Lamar album this coming September, too."
The rap game better brace itself, TDE is about to take another W.
