Real Housewives of Atlanta star and husband of Cynthia Bailey, Peter Thomas, is making for an exciting new season of the show with hes alleged cheating activities and now, more legal trouble. It seems the reality star and owner of Bar One LLC, has been hit with a lawsuit for breach of contract.
Though not many details about the lawsuit has been released Centric reported that Thomas and Bar One LLC have reportedly been sued for breach of contract by Motion Picture Music, Inc. Thomas has one, Sports One, restaurant that he openened in Charlotte, NC after the closing of his first Atlanta, Bar One location, which reports are stating he hopes to reopen by Fall 2015, according to Wet Paint.
The close of the first restaurant was reportedly also due to a lawsuit where Thomas' former landlord claimed the entrepreneur owed more than $100,000 in unpaid rent for his leased night club space. Heavy reported Eloshua Elliott and Showtime Cafe, filed a complaint in Fulton County superior court saying Thomas "breached a lease agreement by failing to pay rent and other fees including late fees, bank charges, real estate property taxes and unpaid utilities." The rent on the former Bar One space was $10,000 a month which according to the site, hadn't been paid since March 2013, and the club ultimately closed it's doors in October of that year.
The new legal troubles for Thomas will reportedly be fimed and played out in the new season of RHOA, as trial is set to begin Oct. 13 and filming for "RHOA" will continue through December, according to Centric.
Lalate, who originally reported the story, reported that this case was also filed in Fulton County Superior court, and "since Fulton does not have e-filing, Lalate was unable to pull the complaint..." detailing the specifics of the charge. However, the site did note that Cynthia Bailey is not a party included in the matter and a 'witness list was exchanged between the parties on August 3."
Viewers will have to tune in to the new season of RHOA to find out more info.
