VIvica A. Fox is always on her A-game when it comes to her career. She's tackled multiple roles on and off screen as an actress, director, producer, entreprenuer and most recently as an Instagram model for her new holiday lingerie line aimed at curvy women. Fox spoke about what women can expect from her line, as well as reprising her role in the 2016 Independence Day film without former co-star Will Smith.
Fox definitely has a lot under her belt these days. Currently, she's continuing to build her successful hair piece business and was cast as Taraji P. Henson's sister on season 2 of the hit Fox show Empire. She's also working on furthering her brand by adding lingerie to her list of endeavors and starring in the sequel to the 1996 box office hit Independence Day. Fox recently sat down with Detroit Free Press to talk about her role as Jasmine in Independence Day: Resurgence.
According to Fox, her character Jasmine is much more mature after 20 years and has moved on from being a stripper "working that pole." Now, she's a hospital administrator and a mother of a son, played by Survivor's Remorse star Jessie Usher, who she encourages to pursue a career as a fighter pilot. Fox said Usher became a part of the project at the suggestion of former co-star Will Smith, who she says could not be a part of the sequel due to scheduling conflicts, but ultimately wished the best for her and the film.
"He gave us his blessing," Fox told the Detroit Free Press. "He wanted to do Suicide Squad and other projects, so he passed. We missed him - trust me, we did - but he gave us his blessings and for that we're very grateful."
Although there was a lot of pressure to carry on the film without Smith, Fox said that the overall success of the film was not just attributed to him or his character, but the team as a whole. The 51-year-old explained that many of the original team members are returning for the 2016 sequel including Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Judd Hirsch and Brent Spiner, and they all look great and are really excited.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Goldblum released a teaser back in July via Facebook about the alien invasion film, and a separate video with this quote describing the film, "We thought we wiped them out. The Resurgence is here."
So there I was thinking about how I would save mankind when this guy photobombs me. Oh, why hello Facebook, nice to finally meet you. #IDR

Fox explained that despite the 20 year difference, and the change of occupation from stripper to administrator, she's back and better than ever. Fans will have to wait until June 2016 to see if the sequel lives up to her word, but you can definitely tell from her recent lingerie photos that her body is still tight.
Fox is seen striking a sexy pose wearing lingerie from her new line, "Vivica A. Fox for Curvy Couture" Holiday Collection in partnership with Curvy Couture. The line is a representation of Fox's vivacious, sexy and edgy persona according to Hype Magazine. The selections come in a wide range of sizes, 34DDD - 44H for its bras and 6/8 - 22/24 for panties; colors and styles and caters to the woman with curves.
In an October 2015 Curvy Couture blog interview, The Two Can Play That Game star explained how working on this line was a dream come true and how she stands for confidence and sex appeal no matter what size or age you may be. "I've always encouraged women to love their bodies and this new line is the most glamorous, fashionable way to do that on a level every woman of every shape and size can enjoy," Fox explained. The line will be available in November 2015.
