Christina Aguilera and her fiance, Matthew Rutler, are warming up to host an a-list fundraiser for Hillary Clinton at their home in Los Angeles. Her trip to the "City of Angels" will occur soon after her late October birthday and will be held early next month (Nov. 4). Those involved predict that the event will be sold out, as was the last fundraiser for the presidential hopeful, held at Lionsgate's Rob Friedman's home.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clinton has a history of attracting A-Listers to her fundraisers and at her event in August, the likes of Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Usher, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba and Jeffrey Katzenberg attended. The event was thrown at Scooter Braun's house, who represents young talent such as Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
In their typical style, West and Kardashian opted to take a selfie with Clinton during the event, where she took a stand for both Planned Parenthood and the environment strides made by current president Barack Obama.
People Magazine got their hands on an invitation for this one and reported that Aguilera is due to give a performance in the Democratic power player's honor, as the two supposedly share a reverence for one another that was well documented at an event in 2012.
The first time that the renowned singer and politician met was when Christina Aguilera was awarded for her work as an ambassador with the UN World Food Programme and in the photo that the two posed together in, Clinton notably looked as though she was staring at Aguilera's ample cleavage.
The singer mentioned the meeting on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show later on and said, "She's such a force in a room. She's got that star charisma and everything about her. I couldn't take my eyes off her, either, so it was mutual."
