Bad Blood: Katy Perry Follows "Slutty Taylor Swift" on Instagram, Reignites VMA Feud

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have had a long-running feud that Perry just further instigated by following the account, "Slutty Taylor Swift" on Instagram, obviously knowing that it would be noticed, like Taylor Swift's song on 1989, "Bad Blood," which is reportedly about Perry. This latest move reignites the VMA feud that they had on the Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj spat over nominations.

Supposedly the two used to be friends, but being friends in the pop world mostly means smiling for the cameras and reserving the claws underneath the fancy gloves for social media and interviews, as the two have frequently thrown subtle shade at each other in various publications and Twitter.

E! News reported that earlier this week that Katy Perry was seen following the "Slutty Taylor Swift" account on Instagram, which is manned by someone named Dinah. The page actually has nothing to do with Taylor Swift, or whether or not she is indeed slutty. It is actually comprised of selfies and varied photographs that have nothing to do with the singer. Uproxx additionally reported that followers of "Slutty Taylor Swift" have now taken sides in the feud and are further igniting it through the interwebs.

Although E! News has contacted a Katy Perry representative for commentary, there is none available as of yet, but it was reported that the "Dark Horse" singer had a strong opinion on the recent Taylor and Nicki Minaj feud over VMA nominations and that Swift had incorporated a shark into one of her onstage performances to slight Perry.

"Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a women," tweeted Perry shortly after the incident.

In the past, Katy Perry has also referred to Taylor Swift as the infamous mean girl Regina George and Swift dropped hints about their feud in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone.
