As we previously reported in our week five and six injury report, Charles suffered a non-contact knee injury, which MRI scans confirmed to be a torn ACL. This is clearly unfortunate for the pro-bowler, but Fantasy owners have to move forward and West is the best pickup off of the waiver wire this week.
He'll be handling the ball almost as much as Charles, stepping into that RB1 position for the Chiefs. Now, West doesn't have the position locked down, but odds are it won't end up going to the other option, Knile Davis (via ESPN). While the matchup against the Minnesota Vikings isn't ideal, West is still a solid pickup for the rest of the season.
While Fantasy Pros' waiver wire report mainly focused on West replacing Charles, other names worth looking at include Brandon LaFell, Javorius Allen, Chris Thompson, Willie Snead and more. Read more here!
