The tough legal breaks just keep coming for Suge Knight. The former Death Row Records boss is back in court again after a new video of the Katt Williams robbery case surfaced in the hands of the prosecution. The two reportedly stole a celebrity photographer Leslie Redden's camera and the prosecution is due to lay out more new evidence to support the claims made against Knight and Williams.
Last September, Knight and Williams were originally charged with stealing her camera and although Knight's lawyers initially requested an extension, L.A. area judge, Ronald Coen, has ordered that the hearing move forward. The judge made this decision after a video surfaced of Knight reportedly ordering the robbery of the paparazzi photographer the New York Daily News reported.
Suge Knight claims that the incident was her fault, as she supposedly took photos of his son behind a film studio in an alley without permission shortly after Knight was shot in an L.A. nightclub. "Why are you taking pictures of my motherf*cking son?" He allegedly yelled in the video shown in court according to the New York Daily News, "I'll tell you what. I got a b*tch that will beat your motherf*cking ass," he was further recorded screaming in the video.
"Get that b*tch over there. Get her sh*t," he was further heard yelling as Redden fled the scene and the screen went dark on the footage that she had taken. A surveillance video taken at the scene showed her running with two as yet unidentified women in hot pursuit and Katt Williams close behind. Reportedly, Williams was the one who actually stole the camera as ordered by Suge Knight, but Redden herself put the video on streaming website, YouTube.
Billboard reported that despite the video evidence, both Knight and Williams have pleaded not guilty to all charges.
