When it comes to the ideal black family, The Cosby Show family, parents and children, seemed to be the ones to replicate. But, now in the wake recent rape charges brought against the real life Cosby partriarch, Bill Cosby, has that ideal image become shattered amongst families? Ebony Magazine addressed the issue with their November cover, showing the broken, shattered image of Heathcliff, Claire, Theo, Denise, Vanessa and Rudy, better known as The Huxtables - Twitter reacts.
Ebony released the cover art for their November issue, and said it's "all about the Black family, and some of our most complicated issues," via Twitter.

Malcolm Jamal Warner, Theo from the show, has even spoken out recently to the tarnishing of the show's image due to the many allegations against Cosby. As reported by Huffington Post, Warner stated: "My biggest concern is when it comes to images of people of color on television and film, no matter what ... negative stereotypes of people of color, we've always had 'The Cosby Show' to hold up against that...The fact that we no longer have that, that's the thing that saddens me the most because in a few generations the Huxtables will have been just a fairy tale."
To date, more than 50 woman have come forward alleging that the TV icon sexually assaulted them, according to an Essence article.
