When Brantley's good friends back home challenged him and his little brother, Kolby, to make like polar bears, Kolby knocked his dare out. Brantley drug it out, but apparently the polar challenge has a time limit and it just so happened to hit "go time" while Brantley was in Nashville. So he would what any Georgia boy with a dare hanging over his head would do ... he headed down to the Cumberland River. With the high only reaching 44, needless to say, the river was a little more than "just chilly."
Before jumping in, Gilbert stripped off his shirt, shared the challenge with the BG Nation and then backflipped right into the river.
His time in was brief ... just long enough to get back on dry land. One expletive later, he was out. Here's hoping he had plenty of hot soup or something on hand back on the bus so he can keep going on the Let It Ride Tour.
