After taking a break from the road for two years, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are planning their comeback for early 2016 with the announcement of a new tour titled "An Evening With Macklemore & Ryan Lewis" set to emabrk in January 2016. By the time the tour launches, the hip-hop duo will be armed with not only their most recent singles, but a brand new album, which is expected to be out before 2015 is done, Bustle reports. After a ticket pre-sale Wednesday morning and a general on-sale Friday, tickets are already rapidly hitting the secondary ticket market. Because the tour will hit mostly small venues, fans can expect to see ticket prices rise as the tour grows closer to the launch date.
The month-long trek, which kicks off January 9 in Phoenix, will hit intimate venues across the U.S. until February 5, when it wraps up in Milwaukee. Resale tickets to see Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are averaging $129 across all scheduled dates, according to data provided by TiqIQ. So far, the most expensive show is the rap duo's January 29 date at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, where an average ticket is $140, with a get-in of $71.
Round-trip flights to Atlanta on Hipmunk.com can be booked at a moment's notice for fans attending their most sought after show. In addition to flights, Atlanta hotel deals on Hipmunk starting from $67 can complete the trip.
Conversely, their cheapest scheduled date is their February 4 show at the Renaissance Coliseum at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where an average ticket is $84 with a get-in of $59.

To compare, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis tickets for 2012 averaged $107 on the secondary market. In 2013, that number jumped to $119, as the rappers played mostly large arenas and amphitheaters like Madison Square Garden in New York City and Red Rocks in Colorado.
According to Rolling Stone, Macklemore says the time off was much-needed following the hype from The Heist, which was released in 2012. After struggling with a drug relapse, the rapper dedicated his time to his fiancé and brand new daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, who was born earlier this year. She is also the subject of his single, "Growing Up," featuring Ed Sheeran.
Watch Macklemore ring up Ryan about spending an "evening" together. Their will be a harness!
