Zendaya Channels Iconic Hairstyles From Grace Jones, Diana Ross & More for 'Mane Addicts'

Disney's very own Zendaya has made quite a name for herself in Hollywood. A triple threat by any other name, the 19-year-old has dominated the small screen by placing her acting, dancing and singing talents on display for the world to see. She's also solidified herself as one of Hollywood's hairstyle chameleons, experimenting with numerous styles and nailing it every time. It's no surprise that Mane Addicts called on Zendaya to celebrate iconic hairstyles from Grace Jones, Diana Ross and more for their latest shoot.

The K.C. Undercover star has used her voice and different hairstyle choices to inspire girls and women around the world to stand up for their beliefs, as well as to build confidence in themselves. Zendaya opened up about why she's always been a fan of taking risks and whose personal style she admires the most.

"I've taken fashion risks since I was really young," Zendaya told Mane Addicts. "I've always been into dressing different and doing different things." "I love people who take risks and do their own thing, [like] Erykah Badu because she is effortlessly amazing, or Janet [Jackson] for sure]. I think we all want to channel our inner Janet."

Due to her versatility, Mane Addicts named Zendaya their newest mane muse. When it comes to her bold red carpet looks and trendsetting style, there's only one person she truly trusts, her stylist and creative director, Law Roach. She admitted that Roach typically comes up with her hairstyle ideas and the two collaborate on how to bring them to life.

From faux-dreadlocks to bombshell blowouts, Zendaya has tried it all. For this particular shoot, hair connoisseur Larry Sims took her through "different decades of beauty."

Together they captured looks from legendary singers like Cher, Diana Ross, and Janis Joplin, as well as, supermodels like Grace Jones and Brooke Shields. Sims was blown away by his new hair canvas, calling Zendaya "fearless" and "a creator's dream."

The outspoken role model strongly encourages her fans to experiment with their looks. Beauty cannot be measured by one standard form. Instead, she believes that beauty lives inside everyone.

"With beauty and fashion, I think everyone should just try to create their own," Zendaya shared. "Don't try to fit into a mold that doesn't exist. We each have our own form of beauty, and that's really special."

So what's next for the woman who's tried almost everything? Color. Zendaya is excited to play around with color in her hair. Trying new things is her specialty.
