Dr. Dre's Former Housekeeper Sues, Claims NWA Rapper's Treatment Put Her in the Hospital

Dr. Dre has run into some legal trouble and is being sued by his former housekeeper Nicole Sagustume for employer mistreatment while she worked for the rap mogul and his wife Nicole Young. Although she was paid $1,870 per week to clean their house, she asserts that she was repeatedly terrorized by other household staff while she was employed there.

According to Complex, Sagustume filed her lawsuit early last week and named two female cousins who were also employed by the Youngs. The two were allegedly jealous of her skills and repeatedly bullied her until she ended up in the hospital due to a panic attack. She was subsequently fired soon after and is seeking damages from the incident.

As reported by The New York Daily News, the Youngs former housekeeper cited in the damages lawsuit that she endured a "burning pain" through her neck and then began to have a lot of trouble breathing during a particularly nasty bullying incident that landed her in the hospital.

Sagustume further claims that she continues to suffer from anxiety and depression after her 13-month stint as their housekeeper. She also asserts in the damages lawsuit that she wasn't paid adequately for working overtime, skipping meals and didn't receive enough vacation time. A representative for Dr. Dre was unable to be reached shortly after the lawsuit was filed.
