Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game today, Kyiv coach Serhiy Rebrov shared his thoughts on the competition and his team.
"We will try to achieve the level of intensity that they have in the Premier League," he explained. "In England you don't have more than two or three seconds to think on the pitch. Chelsea are used to that. We've studied their game and Chelsea have lots of good qualities. But they also have problems and we hope to capitalize on that."
Meanwhile, manager Jose Mourinho talked to the press about looking forward to the next game and the next game only.
'We don't think about where we are in relation to the top of the Premier League table, or how many points to the top of our Champions League group," he said. "It is important to improve results and at the same time we do that, we improve our game and our confidence. We know how football is."
