Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Goldroom, real name Josh legg, has unveiled his latest single "Waiting To Ignite" Featuring the vocals of LA singer, Ren Farren. The track is the first we have heard from Goldroom in months as he heads into the final stretches of writing his debut artist album and also is the name of the current live tour he is on right now. "Waiting To ignite" was co-written by Tinashe.
The track has the blissful, summer vibes that you expect from a Goldroom production, but has a bit of a harder, more danceable bass line for some nights indoors with the winter coming. The vocals from Ren Farren soar alongside Legg's simple, yet evocative piano and synth-driven melodies.
This is the first single from Goldroom since he released his It's Like You Never Went Away EP back in May.
Speaking to PopCrush, Goldroom describes the process of writing the song with Tinashe.
"I really wanted to show what you could do with live instruments, and to explore the idea of a less electronic future for Goldroom. When Tinashe and I sat down together to write the song, we wrote it about just that, the future."

Goldroom's Waiting To Ignite Tour is almost over, but there are still several dates left. He will head to Boston tomorrow, before playing a few shows in Canada, the Midwest and ending the whole affair in Nashville on Halloween.
