Jason Aldean Announces ‘We Were Here 2016 Tour’ with Thomas Rhett; Tickets Available

Country superstar Jason Aldean has announced plans for his We Were Here 2016 tour, a 24-city run that will kick off in Moline, Illinois on Jan. 14 and stretch out until May 6 at Allentown, Pennsylvania. The tour includes three stops in Australia, and marks the first time Aldean will play the continent, although the rest of the dates are all in the U.S. The tour announcement came while Aldean was still on the road for his year-long Burn it Down Tour, which wraps on October 24. Even with a few dates left on his current tour, next year's dates are already notably pricey, as Jason Aldean tickets are currently averaging $230 on the secondary ticket market. His We Were Here 2016 Tour will feature opening act Thomas Rhett & A Thousand Horses, which is undoubtedly contributing to the demand.

The attendance has been beyond impressive for each show, as he and Kenny Chesney performed in front of more than 45,000 fans at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on May 2 on their joint tour leg. The two also made history when they became the first country music co-headliners to perform at the Rose Bowl.

Throughout all of his 2015 dates on Burn it Down, the average resale ticket was $155. The most expensive date played on the tour was a Sept. 24 stop at United Supermarkets Arena in Texas, where the average ticket was $297 with a get-in of $92.

Of his upcoming scheduled 2016 dates, the most expensive show is currently a Feb. 27 stop at Boardwalk Hall Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where an average ticket is a whopping $416 with a get-in of $113.
