Drake drops new song 'Draft Day,' references Jay Z, Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Johnny Manziel, Jennifer Lawrence and more [LISTEN]

It's been six months since Drake released Nothing Was The Same. Since then, he has shared "Trophies," the "We Made It" remix and a live debut of "Days in the East." Now Drizzy has revealed a new freestyle called "Draft Day," in which he samples Lauryn Hill's 1998 track "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" and name drops big name artists and athletes, Billboard reports.

He gives shout-outs to his friend and soon-to-be-pro quarterback Johnny Manziel, NBA come-up Andrew Wiggins and actor Jennifer Lawrence ("On some Hunger Games sh*t / I would die for my district / Jennifer Lawrence, you can really get it"). He also takes a jab at Chance the Rapper ("If I'd leave this sh*t to chance, I'da picked a name like Chance the Rapper."

Jay Z and Kanye West are also referenced ("Just hits, no misses / That's for the married folks"). This was likely in response to Jay Z's Jay Electronica verse ("Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk / Silly me rappin' bout sh*t that I really bought").

"Draft Day" is currently available to stream and download on Soundcloud. Check it out here, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
