The Billboard 200 was slow on sales last week, and the trend continues over on the Digital Downloads chart as well. There were no new tracks featured in the Top 10 last week, and of the returnees, only two managed to see an increase in downloads.
One of those tracks was no. 2 place "All of Me" by John Legend, which has seen a rise in sales for four straight weeks now. It only received a 1 percent boost, which was enough to register 226,000 downloads. The only other gainer was "Turn Down For What" by Lil Jon and DJ Snake, which placed at no. 7 and sold 96,000 downloads. It's a slow rise for the latter track, which has seen sales increases during its three week on the chart. No. 7 is the track's highest place (so far).
Pharrell Williams and "Happy" might have seen a decrease in sales yet again, but that's not exactly a concern. The track has been at no. 1 for seven weeks running, as is on top by a wide margin. The track sold another 321,000 downloads last week.
Idina Menzel may have seen a slight drop in downloads for "Let It Go," but it was low enough to allow the track to move up to no. 3 this week. The track moved 164,000 units. Following close behind is last week's no. 3, "Talk Dirty" by Jason Derulo, which sold 161,000 downloads.
Katy Perry and "Dark Horse" take the crown for declining sales, as the track has seen a decrease in downloads for eight weeks running. The track started at a high enough place that it still placed no. 5 on this week's chart, moving 138,000 copies of the track. Aloe Blacc kept his place at no. 6 as his track "The Man" sold 124,000 downloads.
There was a 28,000 song gap between Blacc and Lil Jon/DJ Snake, and then Bastille comes in at no. 8 with its track "Pompeii," which sold 93,000 downloads. The Chainsmokers' smash "#Selfie" seems to have less resilience than the other electronic track on the list, as its song sold 92,000 copies and moved back to no. 9. Florida Georgia Line holds the no. 10 spot for the second week with help from Luke Bryan. "This Is How We Roll" sold 77,000 downloads.
