BPM Festival has announced the first phase of artists and labels and music brands added to the lineup and showcases for the 2016 edition occurring in January. Among those who headline the massive 10-day festival celebrating the very best in underground electronic music are Mark Knight, Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Dusky, Gorgon City, Hot Since 82, Adam Beyer, Maya Jane Coles, Luciano, Maceo Plex, John Digweed and so many more. There will be showcases put together by labels and artists like Toolroom, Culprit, All Gone Pete Tong, Drumcode, Knee Deep, Hotflush Recordings, Mo. 19 Music and more.
BPM is able to get just about every big name in house in techno to come down to Mexico. Other acts who will make the seemingly miserable trip for some warm weather in January are Ida Engberg, Andhim, Coyu, Guy Gerber, Sasha, Justin Martin, Mano le Tough, Nicole Moudaber, Scuba, Art Department, Skream, a DJ set from Rudimental and more.
Looking through the lineup for BPM can be a bit mindboggling since it is a 10-day festival that features hundreds of DJs at various venues near the beach in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
BPM 2016 will take place from Jan. 8-17 in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. 3,7 and 10 day passes are now available to purchase for visitors who are keen on heading down to Mexico to catch some sunshine and listen to some quality beats.
This is only the first wave of artists and showcases to be announced. There is still a whole slew of artists and showcases to come fill up clubs and outdoor beach bars in Playa Del Carmen from Jan. 8 to Jan. 17.
