Travis Scott and Kanye West take it to the woods for their new visual "Piss On Your Grave," the latest single off Scott's debut album Rodeo. Released via Apple Music Connect, the eerie clip features rolling skulls, a massive grave and Scott and West experiencing some strange out of body phenomena as they rap while as masked Mos Def watches along from a nearby tree.
West kicks off the clip, which was directed by the legendary NABIL. The Chicago MC and his mentee take turns exchanging verses while their souls appear to be trying to leave their bodies. Dressed head to toe in what appears to be Yeezy attire, the video cuts back and forth between scenes of them and scenes of skulls and debris rolling down a hill in water, eventually filling a very large grave that appears at their feet, an obvious nod to the song's title. "Just in time for Halloween...get the weekend vibes goin right!" he said via his Apple Music page.
Scott called into Beats 1's Zane Lowe to promote the video. "I was in my hotel room in Paris, and we were just chillin' and I just f*cked around and was like 'we need to do the video while we're in Paris." In addition to describing the video process he also had some good news for West fans, "That Kanye album...okay, let me hang up before it gets crazy. That 'Ye album is nothing to sleep on. It's coming very soon."
"Piss On Your Grave" was initially rumored to be a Kanye West song last year featuring Sir Paul McCartney, even considered a contented for lead single on his upcoming album. McCartney's camp declined whether or not he was once tied to the song.
In addition to gifting fans with a new video, Scott is also gearing up for a Halloween show in Los Angeles tomorrow at The Hollywood Roosevelt. "This show is gonna be the sickest. Got something plan" he tweeted.
