President Obama Sings Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' for Halloween [WATCH]

It's Halloween weekend, which means most of America (maybe the world?) already expects to hear Michael Jackson's "Thriller" at least a few times between now and Monday. What we didn't expect was to hear President Barack Obama deliver the classic creepy tune. Just in time for the holiday, the POTUS seems to have found some time in between rocking out as leader of the free world and greeting Trick-or-Treaters with the first family to sing his own rendition of the title track from Jackson's seminal 1982 album.

The video is the work of the now-infamous YouTubers BaracksDubs and you can watch it below.

As Time points out, "Despite our fantasies of how the president spends his free time, Obama does not actually sing in the video." He also doesn't grace us with his own attempt at the classic video's choreography, which is disappointing because we all know he would absolutely kill it."

The video is only the latest feat of autotuned video splicing awesomeness from Fadi Saleh, the force behind the BaracksDubs YouTube channel. In the words of Saleh, the BaracksDubs project "puts words in people's mouths" by mashing-up "presidential speeches to the tune of popular music, based on fan requests." With that process in mind, the growl that kicks-off Obama's version of "Thriller" is especially impressive. While it's not all that surprising that a two-term president has delivered enough speeches for a talented YouTuber to make him "sing" almost any pop song under the sun, one has to wonder how many clips Saleh had to cut-up to made the POTUS growl ever so creepily.

Saleh has been at it since at least 2012, when he brought the world the POTUS's version of Rhianna's "Drink to That." Share a toast with the POTUS with the "mostus" while getting ready for the weekend's festivities and watching the first BaracksDubs video, below.
