Kordell Stewart is not backing down and is insisting that he is not, nor has he ever been, a gay man. Andrew Caldwell made the allegations during a radio interview, where he named Stewart and other former football players that he allegedly slept with. Stewart is now suing Caldwell.
The ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams, has been at the center of gay rumors for a while. Even his own ex-wife speculated that the reason for their divorce could have been because Stewart is more attracted to men than women. The speculations of Stewart's sexuality heightened after Caldwell, who is known for his viral video denouncing his homosexual lifestyle, went on a radio show and called out Stewart, according to EUR.
The "I am delivert" sensation appeared on "The Shake Up" morning show where he recounted his dating experience with Stewart. He described their time together as "a one time thing," and stated that he was with Stewart while he was married to Williams. He also admitted to dating other football players. Caldwell stated how he felt that Stewart was gay when he met him.
Stewart, however, is not sure of why Caldwell is claiming that he felt because he is adamant that he is not gay (so much so that Stewart listed his sexuality on legal court documents in the pending lawsuit). According to EUR, Stewart and his attorney cited, "at all times during [Kordell's] life, Mr. Stewart has been, and is, a heterosexual male." Stewart is claiming "emotional distress, loss of earnings and impairment to his reputation" in the lawsuit against Caldwell.
Caldwell has since retracted his story about the two dating and is now stating that he never dated Stewart at all. TMZ reported that Caldwell admitted to making up the entire story and said he's not worried about the Stewart lawsuit. Caldwell says that Stewart already has money and he "doesn't owe him a dime."
According to The Root, the lawsuit was filed in DeKalb County Superior Court and also named Jarrius Keyun Moon, the owner of the Internet radio show The ShakeUp, on which Caldwell made the statements referred to in the lawsuit.
Now, Stewart has done his own radio interview with Big Tigger on V103 where he attempts to clear up the gay rumors and speaks on Caldwell. Stewart says rumors of him being gay began back in the late late '90s. He explained how he received a phone call from a friend one day while he was at home saying people were talking about his alleged arrest which stemmed from lude acts being performed on him by a transvestite. Stewart insisted the story was completely fabricated. But from there, the homosexual rumors continued to linger.
