LeBron James got in the Halloween spirit last night as he dressed as R&B superstar Prince and sang his hit song, "Purple Rain."
Sporting a large curly black wig, a frilly white shirt, a dark purple coat with a leopard print scarf and some tight black leather pants, the Cleveland Cavaliers star player belted some vocals on stage and shredded on a fake guitar. Maybe it shouldn't be surprising by now, but he wasn't half bad.
This summer he proved himself a comedic actor with a much talked about supporting role in the movie Trainwreck, as the best friend of SNL's Bill Hader in the movie starring Amy Schumer. James is also, of course, a star athlete who led the Cavilers to the NBA championship series last year, but ultimately fell to the Golden State Warriors.
While this Halloween he certainly wasn't making a serious attempt at starting a music career, he does have a spot on Prince impersonation. His karaoke singing of "Purple Rain" showed some serious stage presence as he confidently took to the mic and whipped off his sunglasses. Later on you could see him imitating a guitar solo during the ballad. Check out the clips below.
Cavaliers guard, Mo Williams, caught a lot of the action on the night including an encore performance from James with fellow teammates Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving and J.R. Smith as backup dancers. Irving dressed as a Jedi had a pretty good shimmy move with Love dancing as Will Ferrell's character from Semi-Pro and Smith as a big baby. Watch the clip below.

It seemed like the whole team had a fun night dressing up and taking their minds off of the NBA season for a bit where they are off to a 2-1 start to the season.
