Meek Mill is standing firm and making it very clear that he and Wale are not on good terms. Despite Rick Ross' attempt to make amends, Meek has thrown more shade at his MMG label mate via Instagram.
On Monday (Nov. 2), the "Jump Out the Face" rapper shared a photo from one of his performances and decided on a few choice words for the caption.
"You can't b friends with someone who want your life.... You can't break bread with someone who want you slice.... Can't b on a team with someone who want you to lose.... Can't b family if it's gotta b all about you! #MMG X #DC minus the f#%kboy," he wrote.
The two MMG rappers’ most current rift stems from Wale’s comments on Meek’s beef with Drake during an interview with the Breakfast Club last month. When asked for a "purely hip-hop perspective," Wale said his label mate went into it with a "pencil in a gun fight" and things have been downhill from then.
Meek initially responded with a lengthy Instagram post, in which he poked fun at several points the “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper made during the interview, encouraged him to jump from a building and issued a few threats. Towards the end of his rant, Meek asserted that Wale is no longer a part of Rick Ross' label and made sure to let everyone know that he was "making that call." The post has since been deleted.
Following Wale’s subtle response, Ross himself stepped in via a Snapchat video. Ross addressed the situation saying, "Just got a few calls. N*ggas asking me about my little brothers the squad. It's MMG forever n*gga. The empire. F*ck that.”
Apparently, his message fell on deaf ears.
