Drake Billboard in Toronto Hints at 'Views From The 6' Album Release

Drake has been killing it in 2015 and it looks like he’s ready to add another win under his belt. A billboard in Drizzy’s hometown of Toronto has been getting a lot of attention and many speculate that it hints at the release of his Views From The 6 album.

The "Hotline Bling" rapper recently jumped on Instagram and shared a photo of the black billboard, which reads, "The 6 is watching." He captioned the photo with, “be home soon.”

Drake has already released two projects, IYRTITL and WATTBA with Future, this year. IYRTITL became the first million-selling album of 2015. After selling another 8,000 copies in the week ending Aug. 7, the album became the first of the year to sell a million copies in the U.S. IYRTITL has sold over 1.007 million units since its February release and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Thanks to his collaborative effort with Future, Drake was able to reach another career milestone this year. Following its release, Drake earned his 100th entry on the Billboard Hot 100. He first entered the Hot 100 back in 2009 with the No. 2-peaking "Best I Ever Had."

During his performance at Atlanta’s Music Midtown Festival, Drizzy made mention of his Views album. In the middle of his set, he reportedly told the crowd, "take a break from Views now it's back to that, and me and Future got a tape before that."

Drake first revealed the title of his fourth studio effort back in July of 2014. It was speculated that the album would drop in spring 2015 because of a line from "0-100 / The Catch Up,” where he raps, "We already got spring 2015 poppin' / PND droppin' / Reps-Up P droppin' / Majid Jordin droppin' / OB droppin' not to mention me droppin'."

The spring came and went with no sign of Views. Hopefully Drake's recent social media post means the release will come to fruition. Check back with us for more updates.
