Gearing up for this year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Rolling Stone recently released a list of 20 artists who will soon become eligible for induction.
All of these artists can agree on one thing, it's been a long time coming. Artists become eligible for induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their debut record.
Some of those with approaching eligibility include The Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre, Wu-Tang Clan, Pearl Jam, Tupac, Radiohead and Outkast.

Congratulations are in order for these artists being in the running for such a prestigious honor.
Outkast in particular has been basking in some good news as of late.
The duo has reunited and will be performing at 40 festival stops this year but their individual endeavors have been just as rewarding.
As previously reported, Andre 3000 is slated to collaborate with Aretha Franklin on her forthcoming album. The Queen of Soul made the announcement at her 72nd birthday party last month.
Also last month, Big Boi announced that he had officially inked a deal with Jordan Feldstein's Career Artist Management.
