I'll tell you what you want, what you really, really want: Melanie Brown as the host of the United Kingdom's version of the American hit Lip Sync Battle.
The U.K. will introduce its own version of the Jimmy Fallon-inspired TV show and what better host for the job than the Spice Girls' own Mel B? According to Channel 5, Scary Spice will take charge of the 30-minute show focused on hilarious celebrity performances that allows each contestant to perform a total of two songs with hopes of winning the audience's affection.
Ordered for a total of eight half hour episodes, the increasingly popular show became a wild success in the U.S. when it was first launched on Spike in the beginning of the year, NME reports. After reeling in tons of viewers and creating endless buzz, the show was given a second, 20-episode season for 2016, which means more miming celebrities, their egos and survival of the fittest.
"It's great to be asked to present this show. Who doesn't love letting out their inner diva?" Mel B. said told the BBC. "The US version has me in fits of laughter and I can't wait to see the UK show contestants give it their all. I'll be sure to keep everyone in line!"
"When looking for top talent you don't get much bigger than Mel B. Mel has attitude, experience and unmistakable swagger, all vital ingredients for this high energy show. She is the perfect fit and we couldn't be happier to have her on board. If you thought the US series got gutsy, watch out world - the Brits are coming," Channel 5's Steve Regan added.
The UK version of Lip Sync Battle will launch in 2016 with the news of Mel B.'s co-host contestants to be announced shortly. LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen have taken the reigns of the show based on a Late Night with Jimmy Fallon segment, which saw its debut on Spike in April.
Already, celebrities like Jimmy Fallon, Emily Blunt, Justin Bieber, Anne Hathaway and more have stopped by the stage to give their best go at their choice of song, most likely fan-favorite hits. Channing Tatum and Beyonce are reportedly slated to appear on season two of Lip Sync Battle.
As of late, Scary Spice has taken to numerous talk shows, sharing her fair share of hope that the iconic, female-forward 90s group will reunite for a tour despite the refutes of her band mates Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton.
