Justin Bieber Talks Possibly Getting Back Together with Selena Gomez on 'Ellen' [WATCH]

Directly from the mouth of Justin Bieber, the pop star gave "Jelena" fans the best surprise ever on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Even if it's just an idea, the "Boyfriend" singer revealed that there's still hope of getting back together with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

"It is tough; there is a lot of stuff that reminds me of her," the 21-year-old Canadian singer told the Finding Dory star and talk show host on Monday. "You know, in relationships, you see something on TV and you are like, 'I remember when we used to watch this or I remember that smell; it reminds me of that time.'"

In the video clip above, DeGeneres took the opportunity to poke fun at Bieber's recent nude photo scandal that erupted after the singer was spotted in Bora Bora with model Jayde Pierce. "You told the girl in Bora Bora that stuff," DeGeneres joked. "You said, 'Oh, me and Selena used to do that ...' No, no, no, you know I'm just playing with you."

Bringing the conversation back to serious territory, the host questioned if Bieber could ever see himself in a relationship with the "Good For You" singer ever again. "Maybe. I mean, we have have a lot of history together, so I'm sure it could possibly happen," Bieber explained to DeGeneres. "But I think we're both just on our own journeys of figuring ourselves out. Maybe once [we do that] we can come together and make an awesome duo. Or she'll find someone awesome and I'll find someone awesome."

"I just want her to be happy, honestly," he added. The pop sensation further revealed that "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry" and "Mark My Words" allude to his relationship with Gomez.

Bieber, who has stopped by Ellen numerous times before and will appear on her show every day this week, will drop his latest album, Purpose, on Nov. 13, according to People. Already unveiling "I'll Show You," "Sorry," "What Do You Mean?" and "Where Are U Now" to the public ahead of the album's release, Bieber recently dropped his Ed Sheeran and Halsey collaboration tracks "The Feeling" and "Love Yourself."
