Lana Del Rey's first Ultraviolence single "West Coast" is reportedly due to drop in just three days.
The build up for the new song has been increasing over the past week. First, Del Rey announced the single title on her official Twitter account and then yesterday (April 10), she revealed the sunshine-yellow single cover for "West Coast."
And just this afternoon, Del Rey posted an image of a billboard on Twitter with the lines "Down on the West Coast, they got a sayin'," words she also wrote when revealing her single cover.
With Coachella in California just around the corner with a live set from Del Rey, it's anticipated that she will perform the song live in Indio, Calif., before releasing the official studio version on Monday, April 14.
According to Gigwise, "West Coast" will drop at 10 a.m. British time on BBC Radio 1's Fearne Cotton show. An iTunes sale and widespread radio play is sure to follow for the highly-anticipated single.
"West Coast" is the lead track from Del Rey's second studio album Ultraviolence, which she announced during the premiere of her short film Tropico. Though Del Rey stated Ultraviolence will drop on May 11, the album has no official release date.
